Postgraduate course department in its management activity is based on normative documents of Department of Education and Science, All-Russian Certifying Commission of Russian Federation, the Charter of MaSU and regulations of postgraduate course department being confirmed by Academic Council of MaSU.

The acceptance of postgraduates, doctoral candidates and applicants is performed by postgraduate course and doctoral candidacy department according to nomenclature of specialities of scientists and researches and the University has the right to provide educational activity according to postgraduate educational programs. The learning process in the postgraduate course is carried out in 7 branches of science and 18 scientific scpecialities.
